How We Evaluate Web Hosting
We focus on verifiable plan details and buyer fit. We do not invent tests, uptime measurements, support experiences or personal-use claims.
What we compare
We look at intended workload, management level, published resource limits, backups, migration options, support channels, WordPress workflow, introductory terms, renewal pricing, and the likely upgrade path. For ecommerce and VPS products, we also consider recovery, staging, management responsibility and operational complexity.
What we do not pretend to know
Hosting performance changes with site configuration, traffic, caching, data-center location and provider infrastructure. Unless we publish a documented test methodology and results, we do not describe synthetic benchmarks as our own. Provider marketing claims are identified as provider claims and purchase-sensitive details should be checked on the current provider page.
Affiliate relationships
Hosting Haven may earn a commission when a reader purchases through an affiliate link. That relationship is disclosed and does not justify unsupported claims. A provider can be an affiliate partner and still be the wrong fit for a particular reader.
Keeping guides current
Hosting plans change frequently. Commercial guides are written to emphasize durable decision criteria, while volatile plan names, promotional prices and entitlements should be rechecked before a purchase or a major editorial refresh.
